In Astronomy, an Astronomer will require a report on his findings. Here in Astronomy class, we must do the same like any other Astronomer and record our information. If I were to write a report on the planet Venus, I would state: PLANET: Venus COORDINATES: (N) 4,356,962km (E) 1,977,135kmHowever if it is a written report and not in the type of table, I would say something like: 'The planet Venus, located in the solar system, is at 4.356962 kilometers North and 1.977135km East'. The first statement is an easier way to record information however it would require drawing up a table if it were in an Astronomy book of notes. If I asked in a class for you to record certain information, I would ask you to use the second method but in a seperate area.
Like this is.
However I would not recommend you to use the first method and then goto the second method, this way would confuse astronomers looking at your records page. Thanks for reading my information on how to write an astronomical report.
